TORRE NEST
Comprehensive monitoring and control of the systems and infrastructure of this impressive tower, a solution involving the development of a BMS plus CCTV and access control system.
Changing the Skyline of Caracas
This tower is part of the modernization process of the city of Caracas, located at the epicenter of change in the Las Mercedes district. With its 24 floors, it aims to become a hub of commercial activity in the area. For this reason, engineering design work was carried out to guarantee service quality through automation and control of the tower, successfully combining all systems for comprehensive management.
Engineering design for comprehensive management
At Torre Nest, conceptualization and engineering design work was carried out to integrate the following systems:
- Lighting control.
- Forced ventilation control.
- Access control.
- Video surveillance system.
- Energy backup monitoring.
- HVAC control.
- Air quality monitoring.
- Energy consumption measurement.
- Water consumption measurement.
Supervision from the start
The project has been consolidated among the different specialties, seeking an effective synergy to respond to the challenges posed by a construction of these characteristics. Maintaining constant supervision over construction progress to anticipate future installation problems, so that once the client decides to proceed with the supply of automation equipment, the process can proceed as smoothly as possible.
Project achievements
Every engineering project starts with sizing. It is always necessary to value the design work, because these are the foundations for all future work. The greatest achievement of any project at this basic stage is the work related between specialties and attention to detail from the automation perspective, which provides the required guidelines for the integration of other specialties. Drawing a parallel with construction, if you have solid foundations the project will progress smoothly, anticipating problems and preparing everything for the subsequent supply and installation stages.
